呵呵，看来这新来的小赵还不知道老板的"冷幽默"习惯，字面儿上" lame duck" 就是跛脚鸭嘛，但在英语里，这只"瘸腿儿的鸭子"所指代的就是"不中用的人、废物、草包"，而用在政治方面就是"即将届满卸任者"的意思。所以这只"一瘸一拐的鸭子"可不是什么好词儿，大家平时在使用时还是谨慎为妙，省得在不知不觉中就把别人给得罪了。
