As well，too, also与as well as全部由 “也”的含义，但略有区别。

As well (as) 的含义是“也”’

As well 是副词，含义是“too” or “in addition”, 一般用于句尾。

We look forward very much to seeing you again and to meeting your wife as well.

As well as是个介词短语 由‘in addition to’的含义：

She has invited Jill as well as Kate.

When they go to Austria, they like walking as well as skiing.

Might as well 与 may as well

我们用 might as well和 may as well 非正规地指某事值得做，因为其它事未发生。Might as well 用得较多。

I might as well paint the bedroom myself; no one else is going to do it.

We may as well go out tonight because there’s not much on TV.

As well

我们 as well 和短语 just as well 来表达某件事是件好事。

It’s as well to have a good camera with you when you visit the bird park.

as well 这里有 ‘it’s a good idea’的含义。

It’s just as well we didn’t go to the lecture, because it was cancelled.

用Also, as well 还是 too?

Also, as well 和too 是副词都有 in addition“也”的含义。

Also

Also一般用在书面语, 口语不多见.其在句子中的位置不一 。

可用在开头，强调另一件事的重要:

It’s very humid. Also, you can easily get sunburnt.

OK, I’ll phone you next week and we can discuss it then. Also, we need to decide who will be going to Singapore.

我们也把also放在主语和谓语之间或助动词之后，来连接两个句子。

She works very hard but she also goes to the gym every week.

I’ve been working in the garden this week, and I’ve also been reading a lot.

在很少的情况下放在句末，此时可用as well或too替换。

She contacted him in the office but he didn’t answer the phone. His mobile phone was silent also. (或者 His mobile phone was silent too. 或His mobile phone was silent as well.)

As well

As well 常用于书面, 但比also用于口语的情况要多，as well要放在最后。

举个例子，A顾客，B是服务员。

A: I’ll have steak please.

B: Yes.

A: And I’ll have the mixed vegetables as well.

Too的用法

我们一般把too放在后面:

Gill’s having chicken. I’ll probably have chicken too.

She looks really tired and she must be really hungry too.

Too 也可以直接跟在主语之后，如果它与主语直接相关

I too thought she looked unwell.

We, too, have been very pleased to receive the prize on her behalf.

Too 特别常用于祝愿等的反应，经常和宾格的人称代词搭配i

A: Enjoy the play.

B: Thanks. You enjoy your evening too. (比 You enjoy your evening as well. 或 You also enjoy your evening.常用)

再看一个例子：

A: I need to go to the gym.

B: Yeah, me too. (比 Yeah, me also. 或 Yeah, me as well.常用)
