四种花费中spend主语是人，指花费金钱、时间。cost也指花费金钱和时间，但主语是物。pay指花金钱通常和介词for搭用，take指花费时间。

It takes me two hours to do my homework。我花一个小时做家庭作业。I paid 50 yuan for the book.

我花了50元买这本书。

4.The book cost me 50 yuan。

这本书花了我一百元。

小结：

spend和pay的主语只能是人。take和cost的主语只能是物。cost和spend既可以跟时间，也可以跟金钱。take只能跟时间，pay只能跟金钱。
